Missions

At the end of his earthly ministry, Jesus gives his disciples the Great Commission:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18–20

Night of Prayer for the Nations

The Night of Prayer is an opportunity to to lift our eyes to the Lord while living in a world full of affliction. We’ll meet to pray, remembering our brothers and sisters overseas who know the suffering of Paul, lifting up our church members on the field, and strengthening our own hearts to trust and hope in the Lord.

Friday, March 16 from 7:00-9:00pm
Location: Home of Peter & Chelsea Davies

Missionaries from Kenwood

Kenwood is actively involved in spreading the good news of the gospel to the nations. We have sent out a number of missionaries who are members of our church, and we have partnered with others also on the mission field.

The missionaries we have sent out from us remain part of our membership, and we seek to stay in contact with them, pray for them, and care for them as they share the gospel overseas. We aim to support and encourage them as they labor, in hopes that they will see churches planted where they are.

Cooperative Program

In addition to supporting individual missionaries, we give a portion of our monthly gifts to the SBC’s Cooperative Program, which helps fund SBC missions through the IMB and NAMB.
