Dr. Denny Burk, Kenwood’s Pastor of Discipleship and Evangelism and Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Boyce College, leads a pastoral internship program for a group of Kenwood men each year. The goal of the internship is to fully equip those that are preparing to enter full-time ministry. The interns have the opportunity to preach multiple times and receive constructive feedback, shadow an elder at the church and meet regularly with him for discipleship and accountability, attend the Capitol Hill Baptist Church weekender, organize local outreach events and much more. It is an invaluable opportunity for experience and encouragement for the future pastors, church planters, teachers and missionaries among us!
